MISS CANADA GALAXY NATIONAL PAGEANTCanada’s Official Preliminary to the International Galaxy Pageants Pageant Date: August 23, 2008 Info: The Canada Galaxy Pageant selects titleholders who are intelligent, ambitious, and personable. These are progressive women who make a difference in their communities through volunteerism and service. Our delegates excel each have their own unique skills and abilities that define today’s modern woman. The winners of this pageant will continue the pageant’s work with Sunshine, many other local/national charities, promote their own platform, as well as have the opportunity to represent our Country and compete in the growing and prestigious Miss Galaxy pageant to be held in the summer of 2009. The pageant finals will be held August 21 – 23, 2008 in Ottawa, Ontario. Delegates from across Canada will compete in Interview (30%), Swimsuit (30%), Evening Gown (30%), and Photogenic (10%) events.
